A FUNDRAISING effort is underway to support an "incredible" little girl from Wrexham, battling Leukaemia.
Seirian Richards was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in October 2022, following what was initially believed to be growing pains.
Since her diagnosis, the eight-year-old has undergone a number of treatments, which are set to last until January 2025.
After being in and out of Alder Hey, Seirian is now making progress and is back doing gentle one-on-one sessions with Ady Jones Taekwondo Academy.
The youngster has been involved in Taekwondo with Ady since she was five, and her instructor is hoping to help Seirian and her family out this Christmas.
During the month of November, he has set himself the challenge of completing 110 press-ups, 110 ab exercises, and 110 bicep exercises every day.

With some added extras on the last day, Ady will have completed 10,000 exercises, with hopes of raising funds for the Richards family.
A JustGiving page was set up with an initial target of £500, which was smashed in a couple of hours.
The current total sits at just short of £900.
Ady said: "I've known Seirian for a while now and I just wanted to do something to help.
"She's only a little dot but her and her mum (Amanda) have a great way of dealing with everything that's going on.
"The resilience she has shown is incredible, she's been in and out of Alder Hey and it must be so tough.
"While what Seirian is going through is horrible, people often forget about the impact on the whole family. They've got the whole world on their shoulders, it takes its toll, doesn't it.
"So the idea was to try and support Serian and her family ahead of Christmas and to try and ease the pressures a little bit, as this time of year is stressful enough as it is.
"I felt even if I could do something small, it could help the family through a tough period."
