A FLINTSHIRE recycling centre was reportedly forced to close due to a car fire.
The incident occurred in Oakenholt on the road entering the Household Recycling Centre, off Chester Road, on Sunday afternoon.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said one crew attended the incident, which was caused by a mechanical fault. It caused 100 per cent damage to the vehicle involved.
Witnesses state that the recycling centre was forced closed due to the fire.
