A MAN has sadly died following a fatal crash in Wrexham yesterday (March 4).
North Wales Police closed the road for several hours following the incident on the A541 Mold Road at 4pm.
Police were joined at the scene by colleagues from the Welsh Ambulance Service, who had three land ambulances and the air ambulance also in attendance.
This morning (March 5) Police sadly announced that a cyclist was killed during the collision.
A spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision near Gwersyllt yesterday (Saturday 4 March) in which a male cyclist sadly died.
"The cyclist was involved in a collision with a white Fiat 500.
"Our Roads Policing Unit is investigating the incident which took place at 16.05 hours on the A541 Mold Road at the junction with Old Mold Road.
