A car has reportedly burst into flames near the town centre of Wrexham.
The incident has taken place outside the KwikFit on Watery Road in Wrexham.
Fire services are at the scene.
North Wales Fire and Rescue said: "We were called at 09.01 to a vehicle fire on Watery Road. We’re currently got one crew in attendance."
The fire service confirmed that the fire had started through an electrical fault in the car.
The car recieved 50 per cent damage and the house nearby had heat damage.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said:
"At 9.10am today (15 February) we were notified by North Wales Fire and Rescue Service of a car fire on Watery Road, Wrexham.
Fire officers tackled the blaze, which had taken hold of grey Fiat Punto, and requested police attendance to assist with traffic congestion nearby.
The heat from the fire also caused damage to the door and windows of a nearby property.
No injuries were reported."
The above video from the scene was posted by @Nicfromwales on Twitter along with a caption which read: "A panicky 999 call just now. We thought a house was on fire in Wrexham, but were told it's a car. I hope no one is hurt."
Speaking to The Leader, the Twitter user - real name Nic James - said: "I just had a shock looking out the window.
"We saw a cloud of billowing black smoke and thought a house was on fire.
"My partner called 999 and the operator told us it was a car. Someone had called already, and the fire engine arrived a few moments later. "
