A VEHICLE blaze in Wrexham was accidental, fire chiefs have concluded.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly before 8pm on Friday reporting a blaze involving a heavy goods vehicle in Abenbury Way.
One crew from Wrexham attended the scene but the fire had already been extinguished when they arrived.
Firefighters used environmental packs to prevent oil from entering drains.
A spokesman for the fire and rescue service confirmed on Saturday morning that the incident was accidental and had been caused by a mechanical fault.
It resulted in fire damage to oil in the vehicle's engine compartment only.
