A pair of air ambulances were sent to a medical emergency in Bagillt.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed an emergency ambulance and an air ambulance was called to a medical emergency near Wern Park on Wednesday evening.
Police officers are also in attendance to assist ambulance colleagues.

A North West Air Ambulance was also called to the address incident.
Ellie Roberts, who lives in Bron y Wern, told the Leader the Wales air Ambulance touched down in a nearby playing field at about 4pm.
She added: "The helicopter driver said another one was coming and asked us all to move off the field. The yellow [air ambulance] landed about five minutes later.
"The police said someone was really poorly and was critically ill."
Police officers asked members of the public not to fly drones over the area, after one was spotted above the scene.
