RGC will bring the curtain down on their Welsh Premiership campaign tomorrow and they have already received a boost ahead of next season.

Billy McBryde (pictured above) will return to Colwyn Bay’s Stadiwm CSM after spending four years at Doncaster Knights.

He said: “Firstly I want to say thank you to the Doncaster Knights for a fantastic four seasons, I’ve made some incredible memories and met some incredible people and want to wish the club the very best for the future.

“I’m extremely excited to be coming back to RGC. I had always expressed a desire to come back one day and with a new competition on the horizon, I feel like now is the right time.

“Playing outside of Wales for the past four seasons in a very tough and competitive league has taught me a great deal, and I hope to bring back some of the knowledge and experiences I’ve had to help push RGC towards the top end of the table.

“I’m still incredibly ambitious and demand high standards of myself and others around me which I will continue to do on my return. I look forward to linking up with some familiar faces and some new young talent that the region has produced over the past few seasons.

“I’m buzzing to put the shirt back on and run out in front of the supporters at Stadiwm CSM once again!”

RGC’s final match of the season takes place at Swansea tomorrow.
