Rangers recovered to beat Coedpoeth United 4-3 with Ellis joined on the scoresheet by Jack Jones, Leo Parker and Ed Pridding. Tomos Williams (2) and Joe Colley hit back for United, who got the better of Rangers’ U19s team in another 4-3 result.

Ben Griffiths, Xavi Morgan, Iwan Bennett and Aled Thomas got the goals with Henry Lunn (2) and Harry Holman making a game of it.

Second-placed Hawarden Rangers edged out Llangollen Town 3-2 with Ryan Evans, Connor Parry and Oliver Thomas on target. Sam Antrobus and Will Nash replied.

Rhostyllen closed the gap on Division Two leaders St Asaph City to just a point after winning 3-1 at Broughton United. Oliver Jones (2) and Kyle Williams got the goals with Rhydian Barker replying.

Sam Rowland and Evan Davies hit doubles in Holywell Town’s 6-2 success at Mynydd Isa, for whom Jack Casey also bagged a brace. Cai Farrell and Luka Graham were Holywell’s other scorers.
