A MAIN road in Flintshire closed following a fire at a chemical plant has now reopened.
The A541 Denbigh Road, Mold was closed on Tuesday following the fire at Synthite chemical plant in the town.
It has remained closed, causing major traffic delays in and around the surrounding areas.

However today, Flintshire Council has confirmed that the road has reopened.
A multi agency response has continued at the site following the fire, with Natural Resources Wales and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service leading the response.
Yesterday, residents were told they no longer needed to avoid the River Alyn or River Dee amid concerns over pollution in the water.
