IT'S set to be a very mixed weekend weather wise across Wrexham and Flintshire this bank holiday.

With a long weekend ahead of us many will be hoping for a spell of bright weather following the cold and wet last few months.

While there is some sun and dry spells forecast over the next few days, the Met Office is also predicting rain and showers.

Temperatures will be up to around 16C over the weekend, with lows of 7C overnight.
