POLICE in Flintshire have been left concerned following speed checks in the area.
North Flintshire's Police team was out this morning (May 2) conducting speed checks in areas where they've received reports.
Among them have been outside schools in the area.
The force say that speeds of up to 28mph was recorded outside one school during drop off time which they say is "very concerning".
Further work is set to take place to monitor the speeds of vehicles and keep the area safe.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "NPT are out this morning conducting speed checks in areas where we've received reports.
"This was recorded directly outside a school at school drop off time which is very concerning.
"We will be working with partner agencies such as GoSafe to keep the area safe."
