RESIDENTS in Wrexham have been warned to be wary of cold callers in the city.
The local authority has issued a warning to residents in the Rhosddu area following reports of cold callers offering to do gutter cleaning and other services.
The council has urged residents not to engage with them.
A Wrexham Council spokesperson said: "We have been made aware of cold callers out and about in the Rhosddu Area of Wrexham offering to do gutter cleaning.
"This can lead to additional work at premises if the homeowner allows them to do the work.
"We are advising residents not to engage or take on work via cold callers."
